I have this friend named Edson Breedy who is a national Taekwondo athlete. Edson had big plans for the his future as an athlete and thought branding would help him achieve his goals (I wish more people thought like this). He asked me to create a brand for him that would: 1. help him attain sponsorship to go to competitions (since Taekwondo is not funded by the government like other national sports) and 2. help create awareness for the sport locally. Little did either of us know that this brand would grow into more than that. Soon enough, I was creating designs for EBTKD events, merchandise and sparring clinics.
The colours for the brand were chosen and inspired by the belt colours for Taekwondo.
