If I’ve learned anything in the past 4 years working in Trinidad, it’s that word of mouth goes a long way. A colleague, and now close friend, I met while working with the trinidad+tobago film festival recommended me to some she knew and one phone call later, I got a new client: Massy and Massy All Stars. I've had the pleasure of working with them for the past 3 years on signage, invitations and t-shirts. The All Stars puts out new t-shirt designs every year and for their 2016 presentation, they had three themes they wanted explore: Sailor, Africa, and Champs. I collaborated with Keegan Simon of the 1ndividual Aesthetic and these were the designs they chose. Keegan designed the Champs tee and I designed the Souls of Steel and Pan/Drum print, which actually ended up being screen printed on dashikis as part of the band's uniform for their final night presentation.
The Souls of Steel design was also used on an invitation design for their annual Sponsor's Night at the Panyard.
