One day I got a random, "rush job" request to design a word mark / logotype for something called Mondayness. With no brief and very little information to work with, I designed the logo in a day, got it approved, sent it off and forgot all about it. Three months later, that rush job, for what ended up being a new carnival band by the way, turned into my being the main graphic designer on the project, working on rolling out designs for the upcoming media/band launch. I got the opportunity to work with photographer, Kibwe Brathwaite again, as he shot all the costumes for the band, and I got to taste a bit of the carnival madness and all that comes with it.
